She has been known for her graceful Nritta and sensitive Abhinaya. Roshan joined Guru Rohini Bhate�s Nrityabharati Kathak Dance Academy in 1978 at Pune. She is deeply influenced by her Guru Rohiniji. She received impulses for the development of her as a dancer and choreographer from Rohiniji. She has been a very active member of Nrityabharati for past 32 years; she worked conscientiously, dedicatedly, and played, time to time various requisite roles: as a Disciple, Dancer, Teacher, Administrator, Secretary, Choreographer etc. The nuances and the rudiments which she has comprehended from Rohiniji have been rationally implemented by Roshan in her Dance, Innovation and Research. Today she has acquired a status of being recognized as contributor in the various areas of Kathak such as Performer, Choreographer, Artistic Director, Art Historian, Author, Phd Guide, Visiting Professor, Committee Member [Kathak Syllbus & Structure], Examiner: Kathak Kendra New Delhi, ICCR Panel-Artist, Counselor, Resource Person.
